ASICS is a world-renowned athletic brand, creating superior level footwear and apparel for a range of sports. While many ASICS products enhance speed and endurance for athletes, their internal digital asset platform didn’t have the necessary stamina.

Not quite keeping pace.

The ASICS inventory of over 40,000 digital assets was previously maintained in individual folders on shared company drives – creating problems finding specific items and being aware of what existed. This also prevented retailers from attaining relevant assets needed for marketing products. Underscoring the issue was the fact that ASICS gained no data regarding asset usage. This platform increased costs and decreased productivity on a major scale.

SWIFT, for a brand on the move.

We upgraded the ASICS DAM platform by leveraging Adobe Experience Manager with SWIFT for AEM Assets. This enabled the company to, in exponential fashion, easily categorize, manage and distribute branded content worldwide. SWIFT for Assets is the 3|SHARE solution that, through automation and consulting, delivers faster and more cost-efficient implementation of AEM Assets.

The shoe definitely fit.

The collaboration between ASICS and 3|SHARE created a platform akin to a finely tuned athlete. Benefits included a streamlined self-service process to search and view assets, automated reports and categorization, the ability for retailers to share assets, valuable data access, and a savings of hundreds of employee hours annually – and those are a just a few advantages now enjoyed by ASICS.
