Taking a Journey to a New Marketing Portal

A well-known "Outdoor Fabric Manufacturer" (OFM) has been producing a revolutionary waterproof, windproof, and breathable fabric membrane for technical outdoor gear & apparel for over 50+ years. While OFM is an expert at designing high-end gear, they had a steep climb ahead to enhance their internal marketing and content portal.

A Fix was Necessary...

OFM's previous marketing portal was a jungle to navigate. Their existing content library was spread across a variety of siloed repositories - each requiring separate logins, causing unnecessary headaches and inefficiencies. 

They needed a more efficient way for TMLs and retailers to access all of their marketing assets from one easy to use and centralized location.

Adobe Center Of Excellence (ACoE) to the Rescue!

The Adobe Center of Excellence leveraged the combined power of both 3|SHARE and Digitas teams to implement a world-class assets portal using Adobe Experience Manager.

While Digitas focused on guiding the project to success through astute leadership, 3|SHARE rolled up their sleeves and did the technical work - pulling assets specifically for the new marketing portal using custom metadata for a variety of customers and retailers. This would enable users to find assets without breaking a sweat!

- Comprehensive metadata to tag and display assets per specified role. 

 - Custom UI that supports both desktop and mobile users for a seamless experience.

 - A portal that supports 3 different languages through the utilization of Multi Site Manager. 

 - A custom look and feel for ootb components that displays search results in a designed grid with detailed overlay. 

The end result was a huge success; OFM is already planning their next digital asset portal project with us.
